The OCA has recently completed conservation work on The Monument to Woodrow Wilson, a historic plaque first dedicated in 1924. Nestled in the Wilson Park Triangle at East Morningside Drive and Rock Spring Road, the monument is a living memorial to President Wilson following his passing.
The site holds deep historical roots, not only commemorating the 28th President of the United States, but also reflecting the longstanding civic spirit of the Atlanta Woman’s Club, an organization dedicated to improving the community for over a century.
Today, thanks to the refresh, the monument once again serves as a clean, dignified reminder of both local history and national legacy, offering neighbors and visitors alike a meaningful pause in one of Atlanta’s beautiful green spaces.
