The Pearl Cleage & Zaron Burnett Center for Creativity & Culture (PCZB) is a revitalized cultural hub located in Atlanta’s historic West End. Designed to serve artists, creative entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and the broader community, the Center offers access to technology-equipped spaces that support a wide range of artistic and cultural work.
Formerly known as the West End Performing Arts Center, this reimagined facility honors the enduring legacy of acclaimed playwright and activist Pearl Cleage and her husband, writer and director Zaron W. Burnett Jr.
PCZB supports Atlanta’s creative ecosystem through affordable facility rentals, artist residencies, workforce development initiatives, and hosted workshops. With a mission rooted in equity and accessibility, the Center is a catalyst for strengthening the city’s arts and culture sector.
As the Center continues its multi-phase revitalization, several spaces- including the Black Box Theater and Art Gallery- are now accessible for rehearsals, art exhibitions, workshops, classes, meetings, and select productions.
While some areas, including the Podcast and Recording Studios, remain under development, we welcome booking inquiries and community engagement as progress continues.
