The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) invites nonprofits, foundations, artists, community groups, businesses, and civic-minded organizations to become Cultural Partners through our Cultural Partner Program. This initiative builds strategic alliances that expand access to the arts, invest in Atlanta’s creative economy, and position our city as the Cultural Capital of the South.
Whether you’re supporting artists, sponsoring a festival, preserving cultural heritage, or co-creating programs that uplift community voices, your partnership helps elevate Atlanta’s vibrant arts and culture ecosystem.
Our vision is to cultivate public-private partnerships that activate cultural spaces, empower local creatives, and build a more vibrant, inclusive, and connected Atlanta—while delivering meaningful brand alignment, social impact, and community value to our partners.
A Collective Investment in Culture
Our work is made possible through public/private partnerships that amplify the impact of our budgeted resources. The support of foundations, businesses, individual donors, and national agencies is essential to delivering the wide range of programs, services, and public art that directly enrich the lives of Atlantans.
As part of our strategic funding model, OCA actively seeks and administers grants from institutions such as the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), Georgia Council for the Arts, and other regional and national funders. These grants, combined with philanthropic support and corporate sponsorships, form a powerful engine that drives cultural equity and innovation across the city.
We seek partners who share our mission to:
· Expand Equitable Access to arts and cultural programming
· Support Free Public Events such as festivals, performances, and exhibitions
· Invest in Atlanta’s Creative Workforce, youth, and artists
· Activate Public Spaces with cultural experiences and public art
· Celebrate and Preserve Atlanta’s Cultural Heritage across neighborhoods
· Promote community wellness through arts and cultural connection
· Strengthen Atlanta’s National Brand through signature programming
· Engage Atlantans through festivals, exhibitions, and events
· Build a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable creative future for the city

2. Philanthropic Support
Philanthropic partners play a key role in advancing equity and innovation in the arts. Through our nonprofit fiscal partners, individual donors, foundations, and corporate giving programs can support:
· Artist development and residencies

· Community-driven public art and cultural events and Free cultural programs
3. Program & Service Collaborations
We welcome nonprofits, civic groups, educators, and cultural institutions to co-create public programming at no cost to participants or the City. These collaborations expand access to:
· Youth arts and creative skill-building, Community-led storytelling and engagement

Program collaborators benefit from City amplification, shared resources, and access to OCA’s platforms.
