The return of STORYBOARD was nothing short of electric as Atlanta legend Big Oomp took center stage to share his journey, wisdom, and the powerful story behind his impact on the city’s music scene. The evening brought together creators, entrepreneurs, and culture shapers for an inspiring conversation rooted in authenticity and the spirit of Atlanta.
Hosted in partnership with Atlanta Influences Everything (AIE) and the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), the event offered an intimate space for dialogue, reflection, and real-world advice. Special thanks to RICE Atlanta for opening its doors and providing a welcoming home for the many rising entrepreneurs who attended.
Atlanta’s own Parlae guided the conversation, ensuring the storytelling remained deeply connected to the city’s culture and history. His thoughtful questions and shared experiences elevated the night, reminding everyone why Atlanta continues to influence everything.
From industry insights to personal stories of resilience, Big Oomp’s presence brought inspiration and motivation to all in the room. The energy was undeniable, the crowd was engaged, and the night highlighted exactly what STORYBOARD is all about—uplifting voices, celebrating creativity, and investing in the next generation of Atlanta talent.
We’re grateful to all who made this event a success and to everyone who came out to be part of the experience.
See you at the next STORYBOARD!
