This abstract mosaic mural was created by youth at J.D. Simms Community Center through the Artscool Summer Arts program, which provides teens with the opportunity to work under the guidance of local professional artists. Debra Melton was a beloved community member and an active artist in the Atlanta community. This community-based artwork provides a vibrant and colorful addition to the concrete facade of the community center.
