Chastain Arts Center

FALL 2021 SESSION DATES are split into two 5-Week Sessions:
The City of Atlanta has entered the Red Zone of the COVID Pandemic. The Mayor has determined that it is unsafe for city facilities to reopen at this time. The administration has approved a two-week postponement of our first session. We know this is the best decision for keeping our community safe.
CAC will be postponing the opening to Monday, September 27th, and adjusted our 5-week session schedules as follows:
Session 1: September 27th – October 29th (5 Weeks)
1 Week Break
Session 2: November 8th – December 17th (5 Weeks)
Closed on 11/11 & the week of Thanksgiving

If you registered online, and are not certain about a class, please email ChastainArts@atlantaga.gov prior to the first day of class to verify the day and time of the class and your enrollment.
PLEASE NOTE: All classes require sufficient enrollment to convene. Chastain Arts Center reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or combine classes, change instructors, fees, and/or classroom assignments. Any cancellation or change to a scheduled class will be made two days before the first class meeting. Students will be notified by the e-mail or phone number provided at the time of registration. Full refunds will be issued for canceled classes due to under-enrollment. If a refund is granted and the original form of payment was by personal check, the refund may take 4-6 weeks to be issued.
REFUND POLICY:
Students must notify the Center via email in order to withdraw from a class. A written email request sent to ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov is required for all withdrawals and refund requests. Please include your name, the name of the class, and—if requesting a refund—your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred.
To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 1 week before the first class. If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 1 week prior or the class has begun, only an account credit will be processed to be used for in-person or virtual class registrations, future class registration, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery.
No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time.
The Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Please discuss any unavoidable absences with your instructor. If you are taking a virtual class, you will have access to the recordings via Zoom.
