This mixed media piece was created with various articles of clothing. Using mixed media, Cole creates an abstract piece made up of multi-colored ribbons with various articles of clothing including a shoe, shirt, shorts, and pedestrian objects like backpacks and street signs. This piece is 9 ft tall and 18 ft wide.

Kevin Cole works in a variety of media to create three dimensional ‘wallworks’ that blend the boundaries of painting and sculpture. He works in a range of mediums, uses repetitive forms and color to create three dimensional structures that invite those who experience his work to reflect upon abstracted references to a necktie used for status, beauty, fashion and the destruction of human life. He was born in Arkansas and lives in Atlanta.
