“Our City” depicts faces and figures on mosaic tiles. The shapes of the figures are similar to Arab script.
The mosaic was created by Mahdi Fakhreddin, a Lebanese artist who has also worked as a TV show host, journalist, actor, and documentary producer. He has produced documentaries in Lebanon and other Arab countries. This wall was created with students from the private Industry Council 1993, and restored in 2002 by Mahdi with students from Inn Harbor Project.
