The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with Council Member Amir R. Farokhi has commissioned utility boxes for the Candler Park Neighborhood. Four utility boxes have been hand-painted by four local artists: Courtney Hicks at Clifton Road and Dekalb Avenue, Brandon Moultrie at McLendon Avenue and Clifton Road, Aziza Andre at Moreland and North Avenue, and Andrew Blooms at Candler Park Drive and McLendon Avenue.
The community has enjoyed seeing these artists work at their sites for the past few weeks. Now that the boxes are all completed, we hope the community, tourists, and visitors continue to enjoy these beautiful artworks.
