Folk Art Park Restoration

In September 2014, The Mayors’ Office of Cultural Affairs funded the initial phase of a restoration project at Folk Art Park, The Rolling Hills of Georgia, by artist R.A Miller.  This site is at the corner of Ralph McGill Boulevard and Courtland Street.  Rolling Hills features imaginative metal silhouettes of animals and creatures from R.A Miller’s repertoire and are mounted to to undulating cast concrete hills.

The City of Atlanta public Art Program monitors the condition of all sites at Folk Art Park and has recommended a conservation effort for all remaining artwork at the site.  Please take the time to visit Rolling Hills and feel free to share this unique piece of Atlanta with others.
