Artist Statement
Public art is my connection to society. It provides me with a platform to entertain and relate to my fellow man by testing ideas of visual communication. I do this by making the whole piece of art a mass of individual communicators. The communicators provide a balance between chaos and repetition.This packaged neatly within a large space creates a piece of art that cannot be seen in its entirely but, when working correctly, is mesmerizing by enticing the viewer to find each and every communicator. Which is ultimately the reason for the piece.What is also special about this mural style is the ability for the client to participate in the creation by giving ideas for the communicators.
