This year's Atlanta Jazz Festival, will be held throughout the month of May culminating over Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th and 29th, back in Piedmont Park in Atlanta, located 400 Park Drive, Atlanta, Georgia. The 34th Annual 31 Days of Jazz festivities and a full schedule of events and artist line-up for the Atlanta Jazz Festival will be announced at the Atlanta Jazz Festival press conference in April. We look forward to presenting jazz at its best during the 34th Atlanta Jazz Festival.
The Atlanta Jazz Festival is regarded as one of the Country’s largest FREE jazz festivals. It is an annual musical showcase, celebrates jazz legends and up-and-coming jazz greats in venues throughout metropolitan Atlanta during the entire month of May. Culminating during each Memorial Day weekend, the festival features show-stopping performances at Piedmont Park. The Festival is produced by the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs, and is FREE and open to the public. Mission It is the mission of the Atlanta Jazz Festival to expose and entertain a diverse audience of Jazz aficionados, young Jazz enthusiasts and aspiring musicians to the rich heritage and variety of Jazz as an authentic form of traditional music.
